Whitewater Rafting Pigeon River Tennessee

This was our first time whitewater rafting. We chose Rapid Expeditions because the reviews were great and because it's one of the smaller rafting outfits in the area. We enjoy supporting small businesses. You have the option to raft the upper and/or lower parts of the Pigeon river. The upper begins at the Hydroelectric plant at the North Carolina/Tennessee border. The rapids on the upper are more intense, while the lower section is much more calm. The lower begins at the Rapid Expeditions office.

This was a fun experience and we would recommend this company. This video was filmed with a GoPro Hero3.
